The accompanying master bath features a shower and a separate bathtub. A private sitting area and a small working space with a desk provide moments of tranquility and productivity. Step through to the covered outdoor dining and sitting area, seamlessly blending indoor and outdoor living. Admire the custom-made Indonesian armoire, a stylish haven for your wardrobe, complete with a safe for your valuable belongings. New bug-free screened in porch off the master bedroom, great to watch the sunset.
Our home also boasts two guest bedrooms, each with its own en-suite bathroom. The first guest room, a mini-master, beckons with a king-sized bed and spectacular views of Savannah Sound. The accompanying full bathroom, featuring a shower and bathtub combination. The second guest bedroom offers a cozy queen-sized bed, an elegant armoire, and a bathroom with a refreshing shower. Wake up to stunning views of the pool area and Savannah Sound, feeling truly immersed in the island's natural beauty.
We have a well-equipped laundry room. Included is a fresh water hot/cold machine. A washer/dryer combination and storage shelves are also at your disposal, ensuring a hassle-free stay.
Stepping outside to the back of our house the swimming pool beckons. (IF DESIRED, THE POOL CAN BE HEATED FOR $50 PER DAY.) Relax in the plush European-styled poolside lounge chairs or the cozy cabanas. Under the shade of the roof, the outdoor dining for six and sitting area invites you to gather for a shared meal. Curl up in the soft-seating area, featuring a sofa and two lounge chairs. A gas grill stands ready to assist you in creating unforgettable meals.

Summary: Turtle Pointe is on Windermere Island which is a gated and safe community. The house has the master bedroom on one side and the guest bedrooms on the other giving everyone privacy. The layout is open and spacious with plenty of seating and storage. The pool is beautiful and makes for some relaxing days! We used the kayaks and paddle boards daily. Take them to the left around the bend and you'll find Windermere's West Beach which has a bathroom, swings and comfy chairs to lounge. You'll discover tons of turtles, barracuda, fish, starfish and the occasional stingray. The boat dock has a light you can turn on at night to watch all the sea life! We had full access to the Windermere Beach Club and had a blast playing pickleball on a drizzly day. Their shop has fun hats and t-shirts for purchase. They also have a restaurant you can book on certain days. The Atlantic Ocean is super close. We drove over and parked to walk the beach. The homeowner provides a cooler, pool floats, beach towels and beach chairs. There's also a water cooler with a 5 gallon jug of water which is convenient. And there's a great screened in back porch with a big table for evening meals if you want. We will always have great memories of Tuttle Pointe!

Lots of beach towels on hand ---all in great condition! Missing it already---look forward to next time.

The island is safe, with great food and friendly people. The house is beautifully decorated, spotless, well appointed and very comfortable. All our needs were anticipated and well addressed. The huge stretch of beach was a short stroll away and mostly empty, so we felt we had it ourselves. The pool and boat dock were both our afternoon favorites. We enjoyed paddle boarding with sea turtles on the calm sound and lounging about.

The house has its own pool but also one is spoiled with places to lounge, including down my the private boat dock in the company of sea turtles or at the beach just a 3-5 min walk from the front door. One of my fav activities was sunrise walks on the deserted beach.... just heaven. Lots of dining options nearby and and opportunities to be as active or as lazy as you want! Highly highly highly recommend - a wonderful experience from start to finish!
